We then headed to Burley to visit some of my friends from my mission. I haven’t seen them in about 12 years – it was surely time for a meet and greet! I had such a great time visiting with Mike and Diana. They both served in my mission. It was funny because I didn’t know Diana very well until after our mission. We had several of the same companions but never served together. Mike was a different story. We served in the same district or zone for at least half my mission. He would get transferred somewhere and the next month I would get transferred there. We had so much fun and he was like a brother to me – still is. I sure love them and it was so good to visit with them and see their adorable kids. I didn’t get any pictures with them – I felt bad. However, we are going to plan a trip down to Logandale, NV to see them soon and I’ll get plenty of shots then.
We then met Bryan, Grandpa, Tarin and Noah at McDonalds in Burley and had dinner with them. The kids were excited to see their Dad and Grandpa and cousins. Tarin was very excited to see Carson and Morgan. Tarin and Noah are such cute kids. I haven’t seen them since last summer.
Finally, we left Burley and were back home around 9:00 pm. It was a long day but oh so fun!
| Good Ol' Mickey D's for dinner. Only the kids really love it! |
