Our second day at Bear Lake. Jackie and Cole had to go to SLC for the day so they left early. McKenzie spent the day with us and we played and played. We played at the playground in the morning. We went to the pool and to the beach in the afternoon. Sam and Carson decided it would be fun to be buried in the sand – until it was time to clean up! I only took pictures of that part on my IPod and they aren’t too clear. Believe me, it was sight to see!
Bear Lake was so nice and relaxing. Actually a little too relaxing – I got sunburned! All my fault, too, because I didn’t put any sunscreen on. You would think that I would learn. Maybe someday :)
Before we left, Grandma Bell took us all out for ice cream. It was a great way to end our trip. Thanks Grandma Bell for letting us stay with you.
We headed home in the early evening – It was a beautiful drive through Montpelier, Soda Springs, Grace and Lava to the interstate. I am so glad I live in Idaho – it is such a beautiful place. Especially right now with the crops almost grown and the wonderful August weather. Harvest is just around the corner and my favorite time of year – FALL!
