Day 36 of 365

Today was an eventful day.  We (my mom, dad and I) were the sacrament meeting speakers.  Our assigned topic was “Let virtue garnish they thoughts unceasingly; then shall they confidence wax strong in the presence of God” (D&C 121:45).  I love hearing my mom and dad speak.  I then had primary to do and the kids were a little bit out of control...  That's just how it is some Sundays.  Oh well - we just try again next week.

After church, I went to Idaho Falls to see some good friends of mine who were visiting from Illinois.  It was so nice to visit with them and spend Sunday afternoon together.  Thanks Hundertmarks for inviting me to spend the afternoon with you.  I sure love your family :)

Day 35 of 365

We headed to Twin Falls today to meet Bryan and the kids, to spend a little time together before he takes them back on Wednesday to Illinois.  Cameron decided he wanted to stay at Grandpa and Grandma's and so we got to spend the afternoon with Rylee, Jordan and Bryan.  We first went to a late lunch at Five Guys which is always delicious.  Rylee and Jordan hadn't been there before and they really liked it.  I guess that will be a new tradition for us.  We went shopping at Walmart to find some school clothes for Jordan.  We then went on a little outing over the Perrine Bridge.  It was a beautiful day.  We walked north on the bridge, then walked underneath and walked back to our vehicle.  I took lots of pictures.  The kids loved it!  I thought Morgan would be scared, but he did really well.  There were sidewalks on both sides so there was no way to fall off; however, it was a little unnerving when we were in the middle of the bridge and with all the traffic going by, it would shake a bit.  It reminded me of going up in the Arch in St Louis.  It definitely was hot - when we got back to the van it said it was 99-100 degrees outside.  We were able to grab some water and drinks for everyone and then I headed home and everyone else headed to Boise.

Day 34 of 365

Friday night...  How exciting!  Actually, Fridays are wonderful because I get off work early.  So I get more hangin' time with my kids.  We went to a wedding reception, the kids loved it.  Carson would have stayed all night if I would have let her.  She is extremely fascinated with weddings.  It's cute.  We watched movies together afterwards.  I made sure I had extra cuddle time with the kids because they are leaving tomorrow to spend some time with their dad.

Day 33 of 365

Today was a cousin day...  Auntie Melissa picked up the kids early from daycare and they played for the afternoon, had dinner together and played some more.  The two girls (Princess Little and her cousin) tried for a sleep over again...  However, both mom's had to put a kibosh on it for this evening.  All in all it was a great day :)  We love our cousins and are so glad we live so close.

Day 32 of 365

Tonight we went to Walmart and went school shopping for Carson's school supplies.  She was more than thrilled with her new goods and couldn't wait to get home and put them in her new backpack.  I can't believe my baby is going to be in first grade.  She is so excited.

Day 31 of 365

Merritt invited us to pick peas and carrots out of his garden this week.  We were delighted to accept his invitation.  The kids had a great time and were great help!

Day 30 of 365

The beginning of another week.  I can't believe August is almost here.  Where did this summer go?  I have always wished that July had 60 days!  That would be about perfect.  We spent a fun evening with Melissa, Olivia, Abby and Max.  It's so nice to have them so close.

Having some homemade snow cones.

Thanks to Auntie Melissa
for making all of us yummy
snow cones.

Olivia loved hers...

Abby loved hers too!

Carson thought the flavored ice was pretty wonderful.

Getting ready for a bike ride.

Riding around the church.

This little Abby is the
fastest no matter what she
does; especially on her bicycle.

Max decided to take a detour from the group.
He found something more interesting, Morgan
is coming over to investigate.

The cousins/BFF have a little chat about
what Max is up to.

Max spotted a rock that
needed to be climbed.  I'm sure
his mother was really happy!
