While picking up our $1 lunch drinks at McDonald's, (yeah baby), I happened to look in my mirror and noticed a girl behind me that looked a lot like my friend Crystal. However, she lives in Iowa. I then looked at the license plate and it was from Iowa! So I called her on my phone to let her know that I was in the vehicle in front of her... I could see her looking for her phone, she was so surprised. I had to get back to work so we made plans to meet later tonight. I had to run some errands in Idaho Falls so we met up there and enjoyed chatting for an hour. It was so great to catch up with you Crystal... I sure love and miss you. We have been friends for a long time, since my Logan days. In fact, we have a long running joke that we don't know how we became friends, we just were friends. We have had so many good times together. Crystal ended up marrying a guy from B-town so they end up in this part of Idaho every once in awhile. Yes, it is a small world - I served in the same mission as Crystal's cousin - Matt Avery and my sister-in-law, Mandee, is first-cousins with Rich, Crystal's husband.
