For dinner, we went to Wendy’s with Memi and Papa. On the way home, I decided to take the kids by one of the cemetery’s in our area so I could show them where my Grandpa Draper is buried. He died when my mom was only 10 months old. He served in World War II. He died of rheumatic fever before his 29th birthday. I’ve heard so many wonderful stories about him and can’t wait to meet him again.
It was interesting to me the questions my kids asked. They wanted to know how tall he was and if they were standing on him when we were at the gravesite. Carson wanted to know what the difference was between a grave yard and a cemetery…. Questions, questions… I love my kids!
| Trying to get a good picture of the moon. I played around with the settings on my camera - still not what I would like. Can't wait until I get a new one! |
| Finding Grandpa's headstone and having Carson read it. |
