Day 24 of 365

Tonight I drove to meet Bryan half-way to switch Rylee and Morgan.  He decided he wanted to do the scenic route so we met at Craters of the Moon National Monument.  It was a pretty drive this time of year and allowed Carson, Rylee and I to spend some more quality time together.  We stopped in Arco to find something to eat.  Not many choices!  Carson kept asking if they had certain fast food restaurants, I finally told her no, they just have gas stations!  We did find a place to grab a drink and a few things and went on our merry way.

On the way home, we stopped in Arco again as I had seen a park on the way and wanted to stop and take pictures.  It happens to be a park dedicated to submarines from World War II - so I snapped a few pics of the kids.  There was a torpedo and an actual submarine sail.  Pretty interesting.

Finally, we found a cool little gas station that had soft-serve ice cream - both chocolate and vanilla.  They were out of chocolate :(   The vanilla was pretty good though.  Morgan and I both love ice cream so that was a nice treat for us.

I am so glad to have my baby boy back!!!!  I missed him.

I also can't believe summer vacation is more than half over!  I found out today Princess Little starts school on August 22.  That is too soon.  We better enjoy this next month as much as we can.
