Day 16 of 365

Today Carson and Morgan started swim lessons.  I defied the shopping gods and decided to take my kids one more time.  They were so much better this time.  We picked up our new pics I ordered at Sams Club and then went to Porters to get some frames.  On the way home, we saw the most beautiful double rainbow.  We had a nice discussion about Noah and rainbows and the promises that Heavenly Father makes to us.  It was a great impromptu Family Home Evening lesson.  Finally, Princess Little had a beautiful manicure/pedicure today at the sitters.  She was in heaven.  I sure love my kids and today was one of those fun days.

Little Spud all ready for swimming
lessons, only 1 1/2 hrs early :)  My
handsome little baby boy is
growing up way too fast.
One side of the double rainbow - this was
taken while I was driving.
This is the other side.  I decided to stop
at this point, safely off the exit ramp and
take some pictures.
A beautiful Idaho sunset along with growing crops
and irrigation sprinklers...  Oh how I love Idaho.

Princess Little's beautiful
manicure and pedicure.

Jazz hands - I love this little girl.

Day 15 of 365

The last day... Cleaning up and going home. When Morgan woke up this morning he said, "Oh, this is the day I didn't want to come!"  He has loved it so much.

Morgan not happy to wake up this morning.

This picture shows his attitude today.

One more look at our beautiful view.

Memi and Pap with the grandkids minus Merritt's kids
They went home the day before...  Caden and
his lovely pouting face.

All the girls minus Maggie.

The grandkids and Max who likes his mom
to much to be in the picture.

Square Ice Cream in Swan Valley on the way
home - a family tradition.

Not a family tradition - getting a flat tire just south
of Idaho Falls.  Thank goodness Dad and Todd
were only about 10 minutes behind me.
It was so much fun.  My kids had a blast.  Can't wait until next year.

Day 14 of 365

More camping fun...  the kids had a blast as did all the adults.  Wonderful memories we will share.
Cody - he is so difficult to get pictures of, so I had to
be sneaky...

Playing games, Shireen and Brooky
keeping warm around the campfire,
riding on the 4-wheelers, and Dad's
bright coat...  Things we loved about camping.

Memi brought bubbles...

Carson and Abby spent a lot of time on the little
4-wheeler riding around camp.  I took Morgan and
Caden on a ride.  Smores.  Our campfire...  Morgan.
Brooky in Matt's hat.

More smores and popsicles.  Memi and Michelle
being silly.  Abby trying to win the dirtiest
kid award.

Twins separated at birth...  Matching shirts and no
it was not planned.  Max and Morgan.

More silliness...  Melissa and Shay.  Matt.

Some more sneaky pictures of Cody.  He didn't see
me taking these.

Caden and Maggie.

Day 13 of 365

We went on a family camping trip to Palisades...

Right after we arrived and set up, the kids
were roasting "peeps" and playing games.

Our humble abodes for the weekend...  having fun on
4-wheelers, motorcycles and bicycles.

Trying to see who had the dirtiest kids.  I think it
was between Morgan and Abby.

Our beautiful views...

Campfire, nighttime and going to bed.

Day 12 of 265

COMPLETE HONESTY!!!

I am sad to say I didn't actually take a picture today.  I had one of those days...  Like all mom's do.  The first mistake I made, after a crazy day at work, was to take my two lovely children to Walmart for a shopping experience.  When they cross through the doors, they become these whiny, out-of-control, emotional and crazy children.  I have no idea where this comes from.  By the time we got home, I just had enough energy to feed them, bath them and get them to bed.  After that, I just sat on the couch and vegged out!!!  I actually fell asleep.  No opportunity to take a picture.  However, I tried to find something online to share how I was feeling.  I'm hoping I found a couple of good images.  FYI - If you type in crazy mom in google images, it's hilarious some of the pictures of real people who come up - Dina Lohan, Kate Gosselin and Jamie Spears along with Robin Williams and Barack Obama.

This is how I felt...

This is how I looked
 Here is to better days!

Day 11 of 365

Tonight we had recipe group at Mandee's house.  It was great.

Morgan having his first dinner.  There are
usually several through the night.

Yummy pop tarts.  Thank goodness for these lovely items,
they save mommy's day all the time.

Tonight was a salad theme for recipe group.
It was awesome!

While mom was with the
grown-ups, Carson & Morgan were
eating popsicles while playing in
the sandbox.  Great combination!

Maggie decided to pour sand in Carson's hair.  Nice.

Day 10 of 365

This one is all about Morgan....

Morgan loves his blankie...
He never leaves home without it

He sleeps with it, he eats with it near, he takes in the
bathroom when he is taking a shower....

He has it with him all the time.  Thanks to our dear
friend Jackie for making this blankie for him.

Helping with dinner...  Morgan is an excellent helper.

Here are his chubby cheeks which I love to kiss.

A picture of a picture.  Morgan when he was
one years old.  Carson took this picture.
